Common Sense
Welcome to my blog which is a way to keep constituents connected to local and state happenings. It's also a way to comment cordially and constructively on what's happening 'behind the curtain' on Beacon Hill. You can expect posts on what my staff and I do throughout the district, what's going on in the legislature, and the achievements of 2nd Essex citizens. I’ll respond to your comments as soon as I can!

November Bates Bridge Update
As you can see from either side of the bridge, most of the work in the Merrimack River is being done from barges--and lots of concrete is being poured. Unfortunately, utility relocation work along Main Street in Groveland is still on-going.
