Friends of the Groveland Council on Aging High Tea

Last Wednesday, Heidi and I attended the Friends of the Groveland Council on Aging's (COA) 7th Annual "High Tea."  It was a wonderful afternoon and Lynne Stanton, the Director of the Groveland COA, was recongnized for her outstanding service to Groveland seniors.  The Friends of the Groveland COA serve an important function by fundraising for the Groveland COA, so it can continue to provide seniors with services and activities.  Thanks to all the Friends and their work!

Groveland Day!

Rep. Stanley and her staff kicked-off Groveland Day at the Pancake Breakfast at the Groveland Congregational Church. Then it was over to Town Hall to set up for Office Hours. After Boy Scout Troop 87 dedicated a moment of silence in remembrance of September 11, 2001, Rep. Stanley helped judge the cakes entered in the Cake Walk. It was a perfect day to be outside enjoying the festivities!

Just the Facts, Ma'am

During my time on Beacon Hill, I’ve cast nearly 5,000 roll call votes. But as those of us with Wall Street backgrounds know, past votes don’t always predict future performance. Here are my positions on current issues, as published on Boston.com.

Want to know about other issues without spending 5 hours on the internet?  Just email me at harriett.stanley@mahouse.gov.

A portion of Coffin Avenue in Haverhill is currently closed in accordance with MassDOT's traffic management plans. Two stages have been combined where the work areas will focus on constructing the parking areas for abutters and boaters and also to remove the existing pavement on the section of Coffin Avenue from Groveland Street to Old Ferry Road. This stage will last until next spring and Groveland Street will remain open for the duration.
